Family Vacation
Vacation in pictures: imperfect, spontaneous, wonderfully bizarre.
For me, a vacation is not just a break from everyday life, but also an opportunity to experiment. The freedom of days off gives me space to try out new ideas, play with light and discover unusual perspectives. The result is not only classic souvenir photos, but also pictures that capture the essence of these days – the lightness, the laughter, the small, unexpected moments.
Over the years, these photos have become personal documents. I see how children become teenagers and eventually young adults. The change is not only visible in their height, but also in their looks, their gestures, the way they move in front of the camera.
Holiday photos don’t tell stories of perfection, but of real experiences. Windswept hair, dripping ice, faces squinting in the sun – that’s what makes them come alive. They remind me that it is these small, seemingly insignificant moments that count. And while I eventually put the camera aside, the certainty remains: these pictures preserve memories that I don’t want to forget.
