As a photographer, I’m not just interested in taking a picture of a plate, but in “portraying” it in a staged way. Every detail counts: the way the food is presented, the colours, the textures – all of this together authentically expresses the personality of a dish.

It’s important to me that the images look exactly like the food tastes: honest, authentic and full of character. I often work closely with recipe developers to create the perfect combination of flavour, aesthetics and visual language.
